Wheels is the new single from The Getaways, AKA, song writing duo Jamie Blackburn and Joe Callister. A band who describe themselves as “raucus heavy blues duo,” Wheels is proof that they are so much more than 12 bars with fuzz.
The song
This infectious new single crafts the perfect balance between catchy hooks, great timing and honest, reflective lyrics. “The night’s blended into day, who am I supposed to be? I don’t know” perfectly addresses that feeling of self-critical cabin fever we have all experienced in the past two years.
